Adverts + applets = Advertlets

I’ve always been on the lookout for ways to fatten my pocket while blogging! LOL.. Can’t help it, after all, I’m a poor student and need to look for alternatives to fund my living expenses and travel!! So, I was introduced by another blogger friend, Amelia to Advertlets.com. I was skeptical at first, but after looking through their website, I find it to be pretty good. Because of the fact that Advertlets.com invites blog readers to a poll about themselves, they will display advertisements that are of relevant to the readers after collating the poll information. At the same time, as bloggers, we get to know the statistics of our reader, as well as earning some pocket money along the way! Furthermore, in order to have a share of the Singapore market, Advertlets.com is giving out SGD$8,800 for 300 Singaporean bloggers to promote such great services. Another legitimate reason to sign up! LOL.

A look at other similar services within the region will reveal that Adverlets.com has some strong points over its competitors. For instance, visitors have a lot of voice over the advertisements that are feature in a blog. They can vote on new features or advertising format, comment on it, and even rotate the advertisement without ever leaving the current webpage. In addition, it is also very blogger-friendly! There is an automated queries system as well as a database of FAQs for bloggers, as well as creating a very own polls for exclusive members. – Something which the members of competitor are not able to do! So, all in all, it is certainly something worth getting into!
